Dr. Mujib Ullah
Medical Investigator & Stem Cell Specialist
Dr. Mujib Ullah is a medical investigator and stem cell specialist at Innate Healthcare Institute and the Department of Regenerative Medicine at Stanford University. He completed his education at Humboldt University Germany, MIT, Harvard, and Stanford University, USA. Mujib has expertise in cellular therapies, reprogramming of stem cells for effective treatment in clinics, smart tissue engineering, exosome bioengineering, and innovative technologies for rejuvenating damaged/diseased tissues in 3D platforms. Dr. Ullah holds a Dr. Med, Ph.D., and other advanced degrees in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine with many years of postdoctoral experience in a cGMP environment at Roche/Genentech USA. He is currently collaborating with CIRM, Stanford University, and Innate Healthcare Institute to advance the field of stem cell medicine. He submitted many patents and worked as a principal investigator for startups such as MBC Biolabs, and Stanford University, California. He is ranked as the top-ranked scientist at Stanford University, with many thousand citations and publications, received many grants from NIH, and has sat on review panel of FDA for cellular therapies. You may have even seen some of his work on the news and published in magazines on the front cover.
He is editor in chief for Artificial Intelligence in Cancer Journal and has been serving as an editorial board member for several journals such as ACS Nano, Translational Oncology, Stem Cells Research and Therapy, American Journal of BioScience, and Bioengineering. He is the Guest Editor for Cells and Technology in Cancer Research & Treatment. Dr. Ullah has designed many labs, protocols, and study sections. He’s mentored many undergraduate, graduate, medical residents, and postgraduate students, as well as reviewed more than 500 articles and published many publications in impact-worthy top-tier journals. Dr. Ullah is also the coordinator of the Biotechnology Program.
