Dr. Sara Hazel is a Naturopathic Medical Doctor licensed in the state of Arizona, specializing in chronic disease, regenerative medicine and anti-aging. Board certified in family practice care with 27 years of clinical practice and faculty appointments in multiple medical institutions.

Dr. Hazel graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, OR with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a certificate in Medical Qi Gong. She has served as a full-time professor of clinical and academic studies at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine for a decade and served as Interim Chair of General Medicine and on the SCNM Board of Trustees. Additionally she has certifications and training in Advanced Therapeutic IV Nutrition, Therapeutic Yoga and Ayurvedic studies as well as being a trained acupuncturist.

Dr. Hazel brings almost three decades of experience in chronic, complex diseases and longevity medicine to Innate Healthcare Institute. She has spent recent years consulting and training for other clinics across the U.S. in chronic disease and optimal wellness as well as developing and teaching curriculum for medical schools and post-graduate functional medicine programs. Dr. Hazel was born and raised in Connecticut but has lived and practiced in the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii before settling in Arizona. Her fascination with integrative medicine began while getting her Bachelor of Biology degree in the jungles of Belize where she met doctors studying with Mayan shamans and learning about traditional herbs for modern diseases. Her philosophy of medicine includes the most advance longevity medicine practices of umbilical cord stem cells, exercise, nutrition, natural medicine and other practices that restore health, energy, and prolong life.
